In 2005 we travelled through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia. In short: the former Yougoslavia. We never intended to follow the trace of the war. But there is no way around it. Once you leave the beaten tracks, the tourist beaches,… you will be confronted with war and what it does to a country. This happened in our backyard… I suggest everybody to go and visit these countries. Learn from (recent) history!
