In 2006 we planned to to a 10 day trekking along the Kungleden route in Sweden. After about 4 days we got stuck in a heavy storm with winds gusting up to 140 km's an hour and windchills down to -30°C. We called for an evacuation and the Storlien fire department came to rescue us. After some days of rest we left again to continue with the trekking. It was an intense but positive experience after all.
