Just a simple video made by
John McDonough. I only added the sound & music. But it illustrates quite well just one of the advantages of an European / Gallet style helmet for firefighters. Further than what the video shows I also think: better protection, face piece and helmet become one unit, compact, good neck upper neck protection (with the attached hood),... With the face piece on it becomes very hard to loose your helmet or face piece. But... you need to get some basic training, as with any new piece of gear.
